Sales Specialist
Remote, Indiacontract
About the role
Trenith is hiring a Sales Specialist to own the front of our pipeline, building the target list, running outbound, qualifying hard, and turning prospects into well-built proposals. You run the commercial side of every deal; the founder leads the technical solution and the close. Remote, India-based, contract with a path to permanent.
Responsibilities
- 1. Build and maintain the target list, identify premium service businesses and growing companies that fit our profile (you own list-building end to end; you're not handed a list to work)
- 2. Run personalized outbound campaigns across email and other channels to open conversations
- 3. Qualify rigorously, budget, decision-maker, timeline, real pain, buying process, and disqualify fast when the fit isn't there
- 4. Lead commercial discovery and coordinate the technical/solution call with the founder
- 5. Build, tailor, and send proposals
- 6. Coordinate product demonstrations
- 7. Own the pipeline and CRM, keep it clean, current, and accurate at all times
- 8. Bring client feedback and market signal back into our messaging and positioning
Requirements
- 1. Demonstrated experience in B2B outbound and sales development for software, AI, or technical services
- 2. Strong written and verbal English communication, you can translate technical capability into clear business value
- 3. The ability to build a target list from scratch, identifying the right businesses, not just working a handed-over one
- 4. A real qualification instinct and the discipline to keep a pipeline clean and current
- 5. Comfort working independently in a remote, async, distributed team
- 6. Comfort with some overlap into US business hours for client conversations
- 7. Fluent, habitual use of CRM and outreach/sales tooling
Nice to have
- 1. Experience selling into founder-led or premium service businesses
- 2. Proposal-writing experience
- 3. Familiarity with the software and AI services landscape
- 4. Bachelor's in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (track record matters more than the degree)
